Multiscale design of coated structures with periodic uniform infill for vibration suppression

In this paper, a novel design strategy to minimize the dynamic compliance of vibrating infill structure with solid outer coating and periodic uniform lattice is presented. The vibration linearly elastic excited by time-harmonic external mechanical loading. optimization performed simultaneously topology macroscale structure, which also includes coating.
